Singapore Creative Writing Residency presents Miriam Bird Greenberg

The Singapore Creative Writing Residency is proud to present its 2017-2018 resident – Miriam Bird Greenberg.

A poet whose work is centred on travelling and those who travel – nomads, hitchhikers, and hobos living on America’s margins – she always presents her audience with different paths to explore through delicately balanced verses and vivid images. Greenberg will read from her two published books, some new poems as well as sharing about her field work on the economic migrants and asylum seekers of Hong Kong’s Chungking Mansions.

The Singapore Creative Writing Residency is co-organised by The Arts House and the National University of Singapore University Scholars Programme.

This session is moderated by poet Desmond Kon Zhicheng-Mingdé.
